On these pages we hope to publish items of interest which may reflect local customs and way of life with which will give the future visitor a better understanding of this singular part of the world.
For example our first article is a study of the ancient art of the "Almadraba" - trap net tuna fishing. In the second article we look at the Tajo de la Figuras. Situated on the road to Los Barrios about 8 kilometres from the small inland town of Benalup-Casas Viejas, Tajo de la Figuras is one of the many caves in the area with pre-historic paintings - attributable to the Palaeolithic age.
