Situated just a five-minute stroll from the nearest magnificent golden sandy beach of El Palmar, washed clean by the Atlantic waves, these four comfortable semi-detached villas provide good quality accommodation in an unspoilt area, which is recently coming under increasing pressure from national and international developers.

Description

These villas offer some of the best family accommodation available along this stretch of coast. Shared between the seven El Palmar villas - including La Cabaña, Casa de Campo, Casa de Piedra (although two of the detached villas have their own private pools as well) - and separated from the houses by a small kitchen garden including fig trees, peach trees and grapevines, so as not to disturb your peace, is a large swimming pool, surrounded by a well-tended lawn for sunbathing. Being so close to such a superb sandy beach, a swimming pool may strike you as an unnecessary luxury, but the Atlantic can be rather chilly in early season. Protected by an attractive rock feature and cypress trees, the pool also presents a welcome shelter from the Atlantic breezes, which can blow quite forcefully at times. In addition, there is a shallow paddling pool perfect for younger children who may feel a little intimidated by the vastness of the ocean. The villas offer plenty of character, with stone-built corner fireplaces in the living room and many of the fittings made from natural wood. Bedrooms are a little on the small side, with limited storage space, but as the houses are designed principally for outdoor living we do not imagine that this will present much of a problem. Each also has a barbecue and the terraces are equipped for al fresco dining.
